As a result of a massive ballistic attack by Russian troops on Kyiv, nine people were killed and 23 were injured. Fires and destruction were recorded in five districts of the capital. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, writes UNN.

According to the SES, the highest number of casualties was recorded in the Darnytskyi district, where seven people were killed and 14 were injured, including two children. Fires and destruction of administrative and non-residential buildings occurred there, cars caught fire, and residential buildings were damaged. Rescuers also discovered a crater in one of the squares, and the roadside was burning along one of the streets.
In the Solomianskyi district, two people were killed and eight were injured, including two children. At one address, a five-story residential building was partially destroyed, and a fire broke out. At another location, cars in a parking lot were burning. Rescuers evacuated 35 residents from the upper floors of the building, and three injured were hospitalized.
Damage was also recorded in three other districts of the capital
In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a fire occurred in a non-residential building, and ambulances caught fire. A fire also broke out on the territory of a film studio, which rescuers managed to contain. At one address, an injured person was found.
In the Dniprovskyi district, a store was damaged, and in the Pecherskyi district, four private residential buildings and outbuildings were damaged.
Rescuers and other emergency services continue to work at the sites of the Russian strikes. Information about the victims and the extent of the destruction is being clarified.
