An explosion occurred in a house in Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region, killing a woman, detaining her husband, and launching an investigation, the Kyiv regional police reported on Friday, UNN reported.

"A 57-year-old man threw an RGD-5 grenade during a quarrel with his wife in a private house in Bila Tserkva. The explosion killed his wife, and he and their 36-year-old son were injured. The suspect was intoxicated," the police reported on Telegram.
It is noted that the man was detained and placed in a detention center. He is suspected of attempted murder and illegal handling of ammunition. The man faces up to 15 years in prison for these crimes.
