Greece will continue to supply Ukraine with weapons and ammunition, which will be purchased in the Czech Republic and transferred directly to Ukraine. This was announced by Greek Defense Minister Nikos Dendias, the eKathimerini publication reports UNN.
Details
It is noted that Czech and Greek officials are already negotiating prices and preparing a bilateral agreement.
Currently, Athens is offering to supply Ukraine with 2,000 small Zuni missiles; 180 2.75-inch rockets and 90,000 90-mm shells (both are anti-tank munitions), 4 million bullets; and 70 155-mm M114A1 howitzers.
Next week, Defense Minister Nikos Dendias will attend a meeting of NATO members and other countries that donate arms to Ukraine. He is expected to reiterate Greece's position that the flow of weapons and ammunition must be maintained to help Ukraine through a difficult spring.
