German airline Lufthansa has canceled its flights to Israeli Tel Aviv until Saturday morning and will avoid Iraqi airspace due to the security situation in the region. Polish airline LOT, meanwhile, canceled Friday's flights to Tel Aviv and the Lebanese capital, Beirut. This was reported by UNN with reference to CNN.

The Polish airline LOT reported that no flights to Israel are scheduled for Saturday, and the decision on Sunday flights will be made on April 20.
Lufthansa, in turn, plans to resume flights to Tel Aviv and plans to fly through Iraqi airspace again from 1 a.m. EST (8 a.m. in Israel) on Saturday.
This statement followed the airline's decision to extend the suspension of flights to the capitals of Iran and Lebanon. On Wednesday, Lufthansa announced that flights to Tehran and Beirut remain canceled and the airline will not use Iranian airspace until April 30 inclusive.
