There were 134 combat engagements on the frontline yesterday, 52 of them in the Pokrovsk sector. The enemy maintains a military presence on the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in a report as of the morning of August 13, UNN reports.

"Over the past day, 134 combat engagements were registered. The enemy was most active in the Pokrovsk sector," the General Staff reports.
According to the updated information, yesterday the enemy launched two missile attacks on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas using seven missiles, as well as 67 air strikes, dropping 96 UAVs. In addition, it made over 4,400 attacks, including 123 from multiple launch rocket systems.
Yesterday, the aviation and missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces conducted 11 strikes on the areas of concentration of enemy personnel and weapons, as well as hit a command center and artillery system.
As of 8 am, the situation at the front is as follows:
Three battles took place in the Kharkiv sector . Defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Vovchansk and Tykhy.
In the Kupyansk sector, 12 combat engagements took place, in particular near Berestove, Stelmakhivka, Hlushkivka, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Kruhlyakivka and Andriivka.
In the Liman sector, according to the updated information, the enemy attacked 24 times near Makiivka, Nevske, Torske and Terny.
Four combat engagements took place in the Northern sector. Ukrainian defenders repelled Russian assault operations near Verkhnekamianske and Spirne.
In the Kramatorsk sector, seven engagements took place in the areas of Chasovyi Yar and Bohdanivka.
In the Toretsk sector, Russians attacked 10 times near Zalizne, Toretsk and New York.
In the Pokrovsky sector, our defenders repelled 52 enemy assaults in the areas of Kalynove, Sukha Balka, Yelizavetivka, Zelene Pole, Novooleksandrivka, Hrodivka, Mykolaivka, Zhelanne, Skuchne, Panteleymonivka, Tymofiivka, Novozhelanne, Ptyche, and Vozdvyzhenka. The highest concentration of attacks was near Hrodivka and Zhelanne.
In the Kurakhove sector, Ukrainian troops repelled eight enemy attacks near Paraskoviivka, Heorhiivka, Krasnohorivka, Kalynove and Kostiantynivka.
In the Vremivsk sector, the enemy attacked six times toward Vodiane, Kostiantynivka and Vuhledar.
In the Orikhivsk sector , Russian troops made two assaults on the positions of Ukrainian units near Novoandriivka.
In the Prydniprovskyi sector , the enemy was defeated, attacking Ukrainian defenses six times.
In the Huliaipol sector, the situation remains unchanged. In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.
On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy maintains a military presence, conducting mortar and artillery shelling of settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation.
"At the same time, our soldiers continue to actively inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, exhausting the enemy along the entire combat line," the General Staff added.
