A number of communities and settlements suffered from enemy artillery and mortar fire. Fighting continues, in addition to the territory of Ukraine, four combat engagements are currently ongoing in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.

The situation on the combat line remains difficult. The Defense Forces of Ukraine are focusing their efforts on disrupting the offensive plans of the Russian aggressor and destroying his personnel and equipment.
Since the beginning of the day, 79 combat engagements have already taken place. The most battles were recorded in the Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka directions, the General Staff reports.
The communities of the following settlements suffered from enemy artillery and mortar fire: Mkhy, Huta-Studenetska of Chernihiv Oblast; Ponomarenky, Khliborob, Dmytrivka, Shalyhine, Korenyok, Kucherivka of Sumy Oblast.
Details about events in different directions of the front:
- In the Kupyansk direction:
The enemy stormed the positions of our units seven times in the areas of Petropavlivka, Zahryzove, Bohuslavka, and Pishchane. Three combat engagements are still ongoing.
- In the Lyman direction:
The invading army carried out 12 attacks on Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Novosergiyivka, Novoiehorivka, Novoplatonivka, Novoliubivka, Nove, Novomykhailivka, Yampilivka, Kolodiazi, and Dronivka. Four combat engagements are still ongoing.
- In the Kramatorsk direction:
The occupiers attacked seven times. Currently, four enemy attacks are ongoing on the positions of our defenders in the areas of Chasiv Yar and Vasyukivka.
- In the Toretsk direction
Eight enemy attacks in the areas of Toretsk and Krymske. Ukrainian soldiers have already repelled five of them, and battles are ongoing.
- In the Pokrovsk direction:
Since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have made 19 attempts to dislodge our defenders from their occupied positions in the areas of the settlements of Vodyane Druhe, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Pishchane, Udachne, Uspenivka, Nadiyivka, Oleksiyivka, Andriyivka, Dachne, and Ulakly. The Defense Forces are holding back the pressure and have repelled 18 enemy attacks, one combat engagement is still ongoing.
- In the Novopavlivka direction
The invaders attacked 13 times near Kostiantynopil, Burlatske, and Novosilka. Five occupier attacks have already been repelled. Battles continue.
- In the Orikhiv direction
The occupation forces carried out six assaults on the positions of our troops in the areas of Novoandriyivka, Pyatykhatky, Shcherbaky, and Mali Shcherbaky. Three combat engagements are still ongoing.
In the Prydniprovsky, Huliaipilsky, Kharkiv, and Siversky directions, no combat engagements have been recorded since the beginning of the day.
Operation in Kursk Oblast continues
Ukrainian soldiers repelled two attacks by the invading forces today, and four combat engagements are currently ongoing. The enemy launched 320 artillery strikes, including 10 from multiple rocket launcher systems.
