There were 134 clashes on the frontline over the past day, more than a third of them in the Pokrovsk sector, the largest number of them near Hrodivka, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in a summary as of 8 a.m. on August 14, UNN reports.

According to the updated information, yesterday the enemy launched two missile attacks on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas using four missiles, as well as 81 air strikes, including 116 drones. In addition, it made 4,594 attacks, including 114 from multiple launch rocket systems.
Yesterday, the aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces conducted 12 strikes on enemy concentration areas, weapons and military equipment, two strikes on command and control centers, and also hit two artillery systems, an electronic warfare station, an ammunition depot and two other important occupation targets.

In the Kharkiv sector, 13 combat engagements took place in the vicinity of Hlyboke, Lyptsi, Tykhove and Vovchansk.
Four enemy attacks took place in the Kupyansk sector over the last day. Defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Synkivka, Berestove, Kruhlyakivka and in the direction of Novooosynove.
In the Lyman sector, the enemy attacked 11 times. He tried to advance near Nevske, Terny, Makiivka and in the Serebryansky forest.
In the Siversk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled five assault attacks by Russian invaders near Verkhnekamianske and Spirne.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the occupants attacked six times near Bila Hora, Ivanivske and, most actively, in the area of Chasovyi Yar.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy, supported by aviation, carried out 19 attacks near Zalizne, New York and Toretsk.
In the Pokrovske sector, our defenders stopped 54 assault and offensive actions towards the settlements of Sukha Balka, Vozdvyzhenka, Novooleksandrivka, Yelyzavetivka, Zelene Pole, Malynivka, Hrodivka, Zhelanne, Skuchne, Kalynove, Ptyche and Karlivka. The highest concentration of enemy attacks was near Hrodivka, and the area of this settlement was bombed by three UAVs.
In the Kurakhove sector, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled five attacks near Krasnohorivka and Kostiantynivka.
In the Vremivsk sector, according to updated information, the enemy made six attacks on our positions near Vodiane, Kostiantynivka and Vuhledar.
On the Orikhiv direction, the occupiers tried to drive the units of the Defense Forces from their positions in the areas of Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne - they conducted two assaults in total.
On the Prydniprovsky direction, Russian invaders attacked our positions 11 times. We received a tough response, suffered losses and retreated. The enemy launched an air strike with unguided missiles near Mykolaivka.
No signs of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissia directions.
On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy is actively using guided aerial bombs from the territory of the Russian Federation to target Ukrainian settlements. Russian unexploded aerial bombs are also exploding on the territory of the Russian Federation.
"Our soldiers are actively inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces," the General Staff said.
