On July 31, 117 combat engagements took place. The enemy is most actively advancing in the Pokrovsk sector. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, UNN reports.
Details
- In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy attacked our troops' defenses eight times near Tykhyi and Vovchansk, where two firefights are currently underway.
- In the Kupyansk sector, the enemy conducted seven offensives near Stepova Novoselivka, Kolesnykivka, Berestove and Andriivka. Four attacks were stopped, three are ongoing.
- In the Liman sector, Russian proxies attacked Ukrainian positions near Novosergiyivka, Nevske and Makiivka eight times over the last day. Seven battles were completed, one is ongoing near Nevske.
- In the Siverskyi sector, Ukrainian troops stopped two hostile attacks in the areas of Ivano-Daryivka and Verkhnekamianske during combat engagements.
- In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy conducted eight offensives near Chasovyi Yar, Ivanivske and Andriivka. Defense forces repelled six attacks, two more are ongoing in the area of Chasovyi Yar.
- In the Toretsk sector, Russians attacked Ukrainian troops 20 times near Zalizne, Toretsk, New York and Pivnichne. Seventeen engagements were completed, and three more are ongoing.
- Since the beginning of the day, 43 attacks have taken place in the Pokrovsk sector near the towns of Panteleymonivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Arkhangelske, Novooleksandrivka, Ivanivka, Tymofiivka, Lysychne, Ivanivske, Zhelanne, Serhiivka and Karlivka. Defense forces repelled 25 attacks, 18 are still ongoing. The enemy is concentrating its efforts near Novooleksandrivka and Zhelanne.
- In the Kurakhove sector, the enemy attacked our positions 12 times near Krasnohorivka, Zhelanne, Kostiantynivka, Karlivka and Paraskoviivka. Eight attacks were repelled, four are ongoing.
- In the Vremivsk sector, the enemy launched an offensive towards Kostiantynivka. Ukrainian troops repelled all four Russian attacks near Velyka Novosilka.
- In the Prydniprovskyi sector, five enemy attacks on the positions of our units on the left bank of the Dnipro River also failed.
