There is no real "Christmas truce" on the table. Ukraine has repeatedly asked Hungary not to manipulate the topic of war, deaths and the Christmas holiday. This was announced by Foreign Ministry spokesman Georgiy Tykhyi during a briefing, according to a correspondent of UNN.

"There is no real Christmas truce on the table. This is a PR stunt by the Hungarian side, which we call 'peace PR'. Why are they doing this? For their own internal political reasons. There are no realistic proposals on the table. We have repeatedly asked the Hungarian side not to engage in manipulations on the topic of war, deaths and the Christmas holiday. These are just cynical manipulations," Tychy said.

He noted that the Ukrainian side had asked the Hungarian side to stop these manipulations, publicly and not publicly.
