In Dnipro, unknown persons launched a fireworks display in the evening despite the current ban, the city police identified the offenders, the Main Department of the National Police in Dnipro region reported, UNN reports.

"On July 31, at about 10:20 p.m., a video began circulating on the Internet that unknown persons had launched fireworks in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Dnipro," police said.
At the scene, the patrol police reportedly "identified two men who had launched fireworks in the yard of a private household.
"They were two residents of the neighboring region, aged 32 and 45. They were taken to the police station. The remains of the pyrotechnic device were seized from the scene," the police said.
Investigators classified the actions of the two men as hooliganism committed by a group of people and opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The police reminded that the use of pyrotechnics is prohibited during the period of martial law.
