Estonia has become the third EU country to allow Tesla vehicles with autopilot systems on its roads, following the Netherlands and Lithuania. This was reported by ERR, according to UNN.

It is noted that no additional legislative acts were required for this step, as a driver must always be behind the wheel and remains responsible for the vehicle.
The Estonian Transport Administration announced that it has permitted the use of Tesla's FSD (Full Self-Driving) driver assistance system on its roads, recognizing the type certificate first issued in the Netherlands.
Over the next few months, drivers of new Tesla electric vehicles in Estonia will be able to install the autopilot software update.
"It is still a driver assistance system where the driver is responsible for all the vehicle's behavior on the road and its safety, and must take control when necessary," explained Jürgo Vahtra, head of the Vehicle Maintenance Department.
"At the same time, Tesla itself monitors whether the driver is engaged in other activities or looking away. If so, the driver is warned that they are not paying attention to traffic," he added.
