According to law enforcement officials, the suspects promised to "settle the issue" without conducting an official investigation or holding the soldier disciplinarily liable. Subsequently, the amount of the illegal benefit was reduced to 100,000 hryvnias, and according to the investigation, they proposed to transfer the money via a postal carrier.
On May 23, the suspects were detained after receiving the shipment. Under the procedural guidance of the Dnipro Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the sphere of defense of the Eastern Region, they were notified of suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The possible involvement of other officials of the unit is also being checked
Currently, the court has ordered a preventive measure for the suspects - detention with the alternative of bail.
