Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga held a series of meetings in Washington, D.C., where he spoke  with U.S. Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs John Bass and senators, UNN reports.

"During my meeting with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State John Bass, I thanked the United States for its strong support. I informed him about the current situation at the front and Ukraine's priority needs.

We discussed further defense cooperation and energy assistance as Ukraine continues to resist Russia's brutal attacks," the Foreign Minister said.

Sibiga also met with U.S. Senators Lindsey Graham and Richard Blumenthal.

"I had a good and informative meeting with Senators Lindsey Graham of the Republican Party and Richard Blumenthal of the Democratic Party to thank them for their unwavering bipartisan support in the U.S. Senate and to share the latest news.

We discussed ways to promote a strong and mutually beneficial Ukrainian-American strategic partnership," the Foreign Minister said.
