Consul General of Ukraine in Toronto Oleg Nikolenko announced five priorities for the Consulate in Canada in the near future.
These include attracting new aid for Ukraine, economic and infrastructure recovery, cooperation with Ukrainian organizations in Canada, humanitarian projects, and protecting the rights of Ukrainians in Ontario and Manitoba by providing them with quality consular services in Toronto.

On March 11, 2024, Oleh Nikolenko became Consul General of Ukraine in Toronto, having previously served as a spokesperson for the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry for 3.5 years.
