Bosnia and Herzegovina will become the 50th member of the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children. This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andrii Sybiha, reports UNN.
Bosnia and Herzegovina has officially confirmed its intention to join the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children. With its accession, the number of participating states in the initiative has reached the mark of 50
Sybiha expressed gratitude to Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as to his colleague – Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmedin Konaković – for making this important decision.
This is an important step that demonstrates Bosnia and Herzegovina's commitment to protecting children's rights, adhering to international law, and supporting Ukraine's efforts aimed at returning home every deported or forcibly removed Ukrainian child
The Foreign Minister also added that the expansion of the coalition strengthens the international community's collective capacity for decisive action. Ukraine, together with its partners, will continue active work aimed at holding accountable all persons involved in the illegal deportation, forced adoption, and militarization of Ukrainian children in the temporarily occupied territories and in the Russian Federation.
