After another massive attack on the energy sector by Russia, blackout schedules have been introduced, and electricity is being imported from 5 countries, the Energy Ministry said on Tuesday, UNN reports.

"On November 17, the enemy launched another massive attack on electricity generation and transmission facilities in different regions of the country. Power engineers are working quickly to eliminate the consequences of the attacks. As a result of the enemy attack, the transmission system operator is temporarily applying hourly outage schedules," the Ministry of Energy said.
They urged consumers to consume electricity rationally. "Thanks to the economical use of electricity, the load on the power system is reduced," the agency emphasized.
Over the past day, as reported, power engineers restored power to 194,511 consumers who were cut off as a result of hostilities.
Situation at ZNPP
"The water level in the cooling pond is 14.13 meters. This is enough to meet the needs of the plant," the Ministry of Energy said.

For the current day, imports from Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, and Moldova are forecasted to total 4,521 MWh with a capacity of 612 MW.
