And the first mailbox, similar to the current designs, with the image of a letter and a postal horn, which is still an emblem of communication, was installed in Vienna in 1785.

On the night of August 2, 1944, in the gas chambers of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp, the Nazis murdered more than three thousand Roma men, women, and children. In total, more than 23 thousand Roma were sent to this concentration camp alone during World War II. About 20 thousand of them died within the walls of the concentration camp.

After the crucifixion and Ascension of Jesus Christ, Stephen became one of the priests in Jerusalem by the decision of the apostles. He converted many people to Christianity through his sermons. Because of this, Stephen was hated by local religious leaders, who had him arrested. Stefan was sentenced to death, taken to the outskirts of the city, and stoned to death. He was buried in a nearby village.
The relics of St. Stephen were transferred to Jerusalem in 428, and later to Constantinople.
