Argentina wants to become a global partner of NATO. This was announced by Argentine Defense Minister Luis Petri and added that the country will continue to work to restore ties, UNN reports.
Today, Argentina's Defense Minister met with NATO Deputy Secretary General Mircea Geoană and handed over a letter of intent.
"I presented a letter of intent expressing Argentina's request to become a global partner of this organization (NATO - ed.). We will continue to work to restore ties that will allow us to modernize and train our forces in accordance with NATO standards," Petri said on social media site X.
