Details

The "Experience Matters" program helps older people return to work: undergo training, internships, and find a new workplace, while helping businesses attract experienced specialists.

According to the Ministry of Economy, as of May 22:

  • 1.2 thousand job seekers have already joined the program;
    • 1.3 thousand vacancies from employers have been posted;
      • 124 participants are undergoing internships;
        • 59 have already been employed.

          "The largest number of candidates are registered in Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv, Kyiv, and Poltava regions," the Ministry of Economy stated.

          "The Ukrainian labor market today requires greater participation from people of different ages, experiences, and professional trajectories. People 50+ possess knowledge, responsibility, and practical experience that can be vital for business and the economy. The state's task—together with employers—is to create a clear path back to work: through consultations, preparation, internships, and real employment opportunities," noted Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture Daria Marchak.
