People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported that Rustem Umerov may be appointed head of the SZR. The idea has come up not for the first time, the MP noted.
Rustem Umerov, who held the position of Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, may be appointed head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, according to sources reported on Monday by People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak on social media, writes UNN.
Yes, my sources also confirm that Rustem Umerov will be appointed head of the SZR
According to him, "this is far from the first time such an idea has arisen." "There was a high chance that he would have been appointed there instead of the NSDC. But then they chose the NSDC," the MP stated.
"As for the ambassador to the USA, as I understand it, as a result of all the combinations - for now they decided to leave the situation as is and observe what the partners' reaction to further events will be," Zheleznyak noted.
