Ukrainian snowboarder wins junior competition in Czech Republic

Eleonora Pavlyuk, an 18-year-old Ukrainian snowboarder, won her first top-level award when she won gold in the parallel slalom at the FIS Junior World Championships in Moninek, Czech Republic.
Ukrainian snowboarder Eleonora Pavliuk won the FIS junior competition in Moninek, Czech Republic, UNN reports citing the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The 18-year-old athlete from Prykarpattia won gold in the parallel slalom, her first top award at this level of competition.
A few days before, also in Moninek, Eleonora was one step away from the podium, taking 4th place at the European Cup stage - her personal best in her career.
