Turkey launched retaliatory air strikes against the PKK in northern Iraq after an attack that killed six Turkish soldiers.
Turkey has begun to conduct air operations in northern Iraq against the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), the the Ministry of Defense of the country, reports UNN.

On the night of Saturday, December 23, PKK militants attacked Turkish military personnel, killing six people. were killed.
According to the Ministry of Defense, six more soldiers were killed in a clash with PKK militants during Operation Claw-Zamok.
Earlier, the Turkish authorities stated that all infrastructure and energy facilities of Kurdish organizations in Syria and Iraq are are legitimate targets for strikes.
