Since 8:00 AM, the Russian army has launched over 753 strike drones at Ukraine; air defense forces destroyed 710, while 36 drone hits were recorded, UNN reports, citing the Air Force of Ukraine.
On May 13 (from 08:00 to 18:30), the adversary attacked with 753 strike UAVs of the Shahed type (including jet-powered ones), Gerbera, Italmas, and "Parody" type decoy drones. Taking into account the night attack (139 UAVs), over 892 enemy drones of these types were launched in 24 hours
The Air Force reported that the main direction of the strike was the western regions of the country.
A specific feature of the attack is that the adversary once again used the territory of Belarus and Moldova for the flight of strike UAVs toward Ukraine - the report says.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare (EW) units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data as of 18:30, air defense shot down/suppressed 710 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas types, and "Parody" type decoy drones in almost all regions of the country. Hits by 36 strike UAVs were recorded, as well as the falling of downed drones (debris) at 26 locations
The Air Force emphasized that the attack is ongoing, with several UAVs still in Ukrainian airspace.
