During the past day, July 9, 283 combat engagements were recorded on the front line. The occupiers carried out 96 airstrikes, dropping 286 guided aerial bombs, reports UNN citing the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The enemy also used 10,085 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,422 shellings of settlements and positions of Ukrainian troops, including 74 from multiple launch rocket systems.

Aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces struck six areas of concentration of manpower, six command posts and one other important enemy target.

In the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, 16 combat engagements with the enemy took place over the past day; the aggressor carried out 56 shellings of our troops' positions and settlements, including 12 using multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South-Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian units 18 times in the areas of the settlements of Starytsia, Novovasylyivka, Lyman, Vovchansk, Artilne and towards the settlements of Zybine, Sheviakivka, Okhrimivka, Hoptivka, Izbystske.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy carried out four attacks towards the settlements of Kurylivka and Novoplatonivka.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy tried to break into the Ukrainian defense 15 times, attacking towards the settlements of Borova, Stavky, Lyman, Dibrova, Ozerne, Shyikivka, Druzheliubivka.

In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy stormed 30 times towards Rai-Oleksandrivka, Pyskunivka and in the areas of the settlements of Kryva Luka, Zakitne, Riznykivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the Russian invaders carried out six attacks towards Tykhonivka and in the area of Fedorivka Druha and Nykyforivka.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 33 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Ivanopillia, Rusyn Yar, Stepanivka, Toretske and towards Vilne.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 18 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Dorozhnie, Novooleksandrivka, Udachne, Kotlyne, Hryshyne, Vasylivka and towards the settlements of Shevchenko, Serhiivka, Bilytske, Myrne.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked four times in the areas of the settlements of Tolstoy and Nove Zaporizhzhia.

In the Huliaipole direction, the occupiers carried out 22 attacks towards the settlements of Dobropillia, Vozdvyzhivka, Zaliznychne, Tsvitkove, Charivne, Hirke and Verkhnia Tersa.

In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped five attempts by the enemy to advance in the area of Shcherbaky, Stepove, Stepnohirsk and Plavni.

In the Dnipro direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions over the past day.

The losses of the Russian invaders amounted to 1,460 people. One tank, six armored combat vehicles, 52 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, two air defense systems, eight ground robotic complexes, 1,868 unmanned aerial vehicles and 339 units of enemy automotive equipment were neutralized.
