Zhan Beleniuk defeated Haim Gozali in the first round. He previously ended his career in Greco-Roman wrestling but joined the Ukrainian national team for 2026.
Olympic wrestling champion and People's Deputy of Ukraine Zhan Beleniuk made his MMA debut with a victory, the Arena Championship promotion reported on Saturday, writes UNN.
"Zhan Beleniuk defeats Haim Gozali in the 1st round," Arena Championship noted, showing a video.

Olympic champion Zhan Beleniuk announced the end of his career in Greco-Roman wrestling in August 2024, having won a bronze medal at the Olympics in Paris.
Later, Beleniuk was included in the Ukrainian national Greco-Roman wrestling team for 2026, which was approved by order of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
His name also appeared in the relevant order of the Ministry of Youth and Sports regarding participation in the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
