World number one and reigning Wimbledon champion, Italian Jannik Sinner, defeated 39-year-old Serbian Novak Djokovic and advanced to the final of this year's tournament, where he will face German Alexander Zverev, reports UNN.

Djokovic lost all three sets with the same score - 6:4. Thus, Djokovic failed for the fifth consecutive time to defeat the current world number one at a Grand Slam tournament.
Before this, Novak Djokovic lost in the final of the 2026 Australian Open to Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, in the semifinal of Wimbledon 2025 to Jannik Sinner, in the semifinal of Roland Garros 2025 to Jannik Sinner, and in the final of Wimbledon 2023 to Carlos Alcaraz.
