The government has temporarily changed the minimum export prices for grains and oilseeds due to the increase in logistics costs. This decision is intended to prevent a halt in exports and support producers.
The government has temporarily, for the period of stabilization of the situation, adjusted the minimum allowable export prices for certain types of agricultural products to prevent the halt of exports of grains and oilseeds. This was stated by Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky, reports UNN.
Today, we adopted the first decision of the emergency support package for farmers due to Russian terror in the Black Sea. The government has temporarily, for the period of stabilization of the situation, adjusted the minimum allowable export prices for certain types of agricultural products to prevent the halt of exports of grains and oilseeds
According to Koretsky, the previously set minimum prices became economically unattainable for concluding contracts due to the rise in logistics costs and the fall in domestic purchase prices.
This decision will help unblock the ability for producers to sell and export their products. This is one of the practical steps to support our producers and exporters, agreed upon with industry representatives the day before
The prime minister also instructed to urgently prepare a plan for the development of processing of Ukrainian agricultural products, so that more products are produced and processed in Ukraine itself.
The Ministry of Agrarian Policy monitors the situation on a daily basis. In case of changes, we will promptly make the necessary decisions. We are also preparing other steps to stabilize the situation in the agricultural sector
