EU Commissioner for Transport Adina Veljan criticized the Polish authorities for not responding to the blockade of Polish carriers on the border with Ukraine, calling it "absolutely unacceptable"

European Commissioner for Transport Adina Veljan on Wednesday condemned the "lack of involvement" of the Polish authorities in finding a solution to the blockade of the border with Ukraine by Polish carriers, considering the situation "absolutely unacceptable," UNN reports with reference to TF1 INFO.

There is no goodwill on the part of the Polish authorities to find a solution, there is a complete lack of commitment on the part of the Polish authorities

- said the European Commissioner, quoted by RMF FM.

Wielan reportedly threatened to bring a case for violation of EU law.

While I support the right of people to protest, the entire EU, not to mention Ukraine, a country currently at war, cannot be held hostage by blocking our external borders
