Due to the forecasted snowfall, Kyiv schools are advised to use a mixed learning format on November 27, and parents will decide whether their children will attend school in person or remotely.
Standing committee on issues of on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergencies at the Kyiv City State Administration has recommended that schools in the capital work in a mixed format on Monday, November 27, due to the predicted snowfall. This was reported by the press service of the KCSA, according to UNN.
Details
For students who will be in general secondary education institutions, a full-time learning format will be organized. For those students who will stay at home due to weather conditions, a distance learning format will be organized. This decision was made during a meeting of the Standing Committee on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergencies.
General education institutions will work offline, but it is up to parents to decide whether to send their children there or leave them at home remotely,
Kindergartens will work as usual.
As UNN previously reported, on November 26-27, forecasters predict heavy snowfall and ice, and wind gusts of up to 17-22 m/s are expected. Because of this, on Monday, November 27 November, the entry of large vehicles into the city will be restricted.
