Denmark to join the Special Tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine - Sybiha

The number of member states of the Special Tribunal has increased to 34. Ukraine's Foreign Minister thanked his Danish colleagues for the decision.

Another country is officially joining the Special Tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine. This refers to Denmark: it has become the 34th participating country of the tribunal. This was reported by UNN with reference to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha.

The enlarged partial agreement will be approved this Friday in Chisinau, Moldova, at a meeting of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe. I sincerely thank my colleague Lars Løkke Rasmussen and all our Danish friends. This is a matter of principle

The Special Tribunal for the crime of Russian aggression against Ukraine was established on June 25, 2025. The goal is the judicial review and prosecution of top Russian and Belarusian leaders for the crime of aggression, as well as for the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Recently, Montenegro, Romania, and San Marino, as well as Liechtenstein, joined the tribunal.
