A Russian flag is found on a destroyed bridge over the Sudist River near the border in Chernihiv region. The State Border Guard Service denies claims that the DRG entered the town of Hremyach and reports that the situation is under control.
Ukrainian defenders in the Chernihiv region found a Russian tricolor installed near the border on a destroyed bridge over the Sudist river. The statement of Russian propagandists that the subversive group entered the town of Hremyach is not true. They did not cross the bridge. This was reported to UNN by State Border Guard Service spokesman Andriy Demchenko.

"Today, Ukrainian defenders in Chernihiv region discovered a Russian tricolor installed near the border on a destroyed bridge over the Sudist river. The statement of Russian propagandists that the subversive group entered the town of Hremyach is not true. They did not cross the bridge near which the enemy saboteurs set up their rag," said Demchenko.
According to him, the territory where the sabotage group operated from the border is actually cut off by rivers, and no one lives in the settlements between the rivers and the border.
"In addition, due to the constant flooding of that territory, it is impossible to build proper fortifications there," Demchenko said.
He emphasized that the Ukrainian Defense Forces are in full control of this area and are in the most favorable positions to hold the line.
"At present, the necessary additional resources from the units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces are being deployed in this area and anti-sabotage reserves are operating. Therefore, we should not succumb to the enemy's information and psychological influence," Demchenko said.
In addition, he noted that the threat from Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups has not disappeared, including in Chernihiv region. Although the activity of saboteurs has significantly decreased recently, the terrorist country has not abandoned the use of subversive reconnaissance groups, including for psychological influence.
Addendum
The media reported that the Russian military had planted its flag on a bridge over the Suddyu River near the border village of Hremyach.
On November 11, Demchenko reported that attempts by Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups to enter Sumy region were observed recently.
