On November 20, the Kyiv Court of Appeal held a hearing in the case of Colonel Roman Chervinsky, a former intelligence officer of the Defense Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate, but the court did not consider any appeals.

The court was scheduled to consider three appeals filed by the ex-intelligence officer's lawyers. Two appeals were against the measure of restraint imposed on him and another one against the groundlessness of of suspicion. None of the appeals were considered on the merits. The lawyers asked for the prosecutor, and when the judges did not grant it, they asked for the recusal of the judges themselves. The judges refused, but recused themselves.

By the decision of the Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv, Chervinsky's preventive measure in the form of detention was extended until December 16. custody until December 16.
