Ministry of Defense of Ukraine modernizes DELTA system with new online decryption and streaming modules

The Ministry of Defense reported that it has launched the integration of new functionality into the DELTA system, which should allow for more convenient battle management, reports UNN.

Details

"The DELTA situational awareness system is expanding its functionality - a module for collective online decryption and streaming will be added," the Defense Ministry said.

The relevant decision was signed by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov.

It will be possible to monitor the situation on the battlefield, identify targets and coordinate between units, as indicated, within a single platform.

It will be easier to identify targets in online streams from UAVs and disseminate information about enemy forces and means. And most importantly, coordination between units is accelerated. The Ukrainian military has previously worked with the proposed functionality in another system that received positive feedback from them and was tested by the war, said Deputy Defense Minister Kateryna Chernogorenko.

The placement of functionality in a single DELTA ecosystem speeds up decision-making, which gives an advantage over the enemy on the battlefield, the Defense Ministry said.

"The integration of powerful technological solutions and the expansion of the overall product ecosystem strengthens the technological advantage over the enemy. It is easier and more convenient to defeat the enemy together. We continue to increase the effectiveness of our military and combine the best technological solutions for faster development," Chernogorenko said.

DELTA is a combat system that allows you to see the battlefield in real time, exchange information within a unit, brigade, grouping, and, if necessary, with allies.
