The rock fell in an adit at the Pioneer plant in Khabarovsk, in the Zeya district. Thirteen miners were trapped under the rubble.
According to preliminary information, they are alive. Air is coming into the mine, but there is no direct connection with people. Communications have been cut off.
A platoon of rescuers has already been dispatched to help, and they will be on the spot in a few hours. Another team has been dispatched by helicopter from Khabarovsk.
