President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that he held a meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, where three issues were discussed - UGS (Unmanned Ground Systems), anti-ballistic protection, and intelligence reports on the deterioration of indicators and Russia's export losses after the first quarter despite the aggressor's attempts to exploit the war in Iran, and gave assignments, UNN reports.

On UGS
"First – UGS. Unmanned ground systems are currently one of the most urgent requests from our Defense Forces, and production and supply must keep pace with the need. The volume of UGS contracting should be significantly higher than last year," the President noted.
25,000 UGS have already been contracted – twice as many as last year, and this is only the initial level: the number will be increased, and significantly, contracting is ongoing
He thanked "all manufacturers who ensure timely fulfillment of contracts, and every one of our units and all commanders who are scaling up the use of UGS."
Instructed the General Staff and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine to monthly verify the real need for UGS and the level of supply
Protection against ballistics
The second issue is protection against ballistics. There were reports regarding the supply of missiles for anti-ballistic systems and the status of fulfilling agreements with partners. It is important that for May, the supply is no less than what we have already received at the level of promises from partners, and this is a direct task for our diplomats and military command. We also discussed the status of work on alternative means of anti-ballistic protection – those available in the world and our own Ukrainian developments

The GUR (Main Intelligence Directorate) and the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine reported thoroughly on the state of the economy and social processes in Russia after the first quarter of this year: we are recording a significant deterioration in key indicators and noticeable Russian export losses. Despite the Russian leadership's attempts to exploit the war in Iran to fix the financial situation, the real results for Russia are negative. In particular, our long-range sanctions are working toward this. We will continue our pressure on the aggressor. Glory to Ukraine!
