President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia is using drones to pressure NATO countries and test their reaction. Ukraine attempts to intercept all such targets and informs partners in case of a threat. The head of state reported this in an interview for Face the Nation, UNN reports.
"We try to intercept all Russian drones, even when some of them move in the direction of other countries, such as Romania, Moldova, Poland, or the Baltic states. If we cannot do this, we immediately inform our partners and try to help them,"
Zelenskyy noted that Russia uses drones to pressure NATO countries and test their reaction. According to assessments, this is a signal calling for a reduction in support for Ukraine. The need for a more decisive response from a united NATO was emphasized.
"Putin is comparing this reaction to what he saw in previous years. And he is also testing the air defense of NATO countries bordering Russia or Belarus. Are they capable of intercepting all missiles and drones?"
