The operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation is going exactly as planned, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in his evening address, UNN reports.

The President also thanked each unit that replenishes the Ukrainian exchange fund with new Russian prisoners of war.
In addition, Zelenskyy noted that one important event this week was the reboot of the Ukrainian negotiating team and the entire infrastructure of exchanges.
"The Security Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Armed Forces, and the Foreign Intelligence Service have joined on an equal footing. The presence of the Ombudsman's infrastructure in the regions of Ukraine will also be strengthened to ensure transparent and high-quality work with relatives of prisoners and with civil society activists who are ready to help.
