During a working visit to Poltava region, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with business representatives within the framework of the Made in Ukraine economic platform, during which he assured that the state would do everything to strengthen the region's air defense, UNN reports citing the OP.
The Head of State thanked entrepreneurs and employees for staying in Ukraine and contributing to the national economy.
"It is important for us to preserve everything that is being done and what has been done in Ukraine. Thank you for your work, for your ideas, and most importantly, for keeping the enterprises, which means keeping people and salaries. This is a contribution to the preservation of Ukraine," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
The President emphasized that the state would do everything to strengthen the region's air defense.
The meeting also discussed energy recovery and business opportunities. In particular, the "Affordable Loans 5-7-9%" for the purchase of energy equipment, the abolition of duties and import VAT for it, and the simplification of procedures for installing own generation.
First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko noted that Poltava region will receive at least UAH 1.8 billion this year under the Made in Ukraine program.
"Agrarians are already receiving compensation for the purchase of domestic agricultural machinery, industrial parks can already apply to banks for compensation from the state for the construction of engineering and transport infrastructure and connection to the power grid, investors who are ready to invest more than €12 million can already apply for compensation," said Yulia Svyrydenko.
