President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appointed a new ambassador to Poland. It is Vasyl Bodnar. UNN reports with reference to the President's decree .
“To appoint Vasyl Myronovych Bodnar Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Poland,” reads Decree No. 7Z9/2024.
The document is dated October 25.
By another decree No. 7Z8/2024, Zelensky dismissed Bodnar from the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Turkey.

[From 2006 to 2010, Bodnawas a counselor at the Ukrainian Embassy in Poland. Then he worked for two years as Deputy Director of the Third Territorial Department (Eastern and Northern Europe) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. After that, he became Minister Counselor at the Embassy of Ukraine in Turkey.
In 2015-2017, he was Consul General of Ukraine in Istanbul.
From November 2017 to October 2021, he worked as Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. After that, he became Ambassador to Turkey.
