Most importantly, these are different types of strikes, and each adds to our ability to save lives. The USF of the Armed Forces is truly a model for many other armies, and during these months we are especially grateful for the mid-range strikes: Russian military logistics throughout the entire depth of the temporarily occupied territory are now accessible to Ukrainian drones. Zelenskyy noted that today he signed a decree establishing a new special day – the Day of the Unmanned Systems Forces. From now on, it will be observed annually on June 11.
For the first time in the world, it was in Ukraine that we created such a branch of forces; we are developing the USF to the maximum, and it is Ukrainians who have proven that thanks to technology, thanks to their creativity and courage, we can change the war – we can achieve goals that were previously either completely unreachable for conventional weapons or extremely difficult to reach and required an enormous expenditure of resources
The President thanked the warriors and all units, all components of the Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine, who jointly and in a coordinated manner deliver exactly the kind of strikes that are needed.
