The Ministry of defense has changed the regulations on Military Medical commissions. Those unfit for service will remain in the register, and medical examinations will last up to 4 days with the possibility of extending up to 14 days.

The Ministry of Justice has registered an order of the Ministry of defense, which amends the regulations of Military Medical commissions. In particular, the order stipulates that those unfit for military service will not be removed from the register and such persons will remain in the Register of those liable for military service. This is stated in the Order of the Ministry of Defense No. 686, reports UNN.

Details

According to the order, the terms of conducting medical examinations at the vlk, as well as laboratory and instrumental studies, can not exceed 4 days.

"If necessary, sending a person for additional laboratory and instrumental studies to obtain complete and objective information about the state of his health, the total period of medical examinations, as well as laboratory and instrumental studies, may not exceed 14 days," the order says.

Currently, the terms of conducting medical examinations, as well as laboratory and instrumental studies, can not exceed 14 days.

The heads of the vlk under the shopping center are now responsible for organizing the work of the commission, checking the correctness of documents and reporting to the heads of centers.

Medical examinations will be carried out in institutions of communal or state ownership by doctors who cooperate with the NHS.

The commissions will include a surgeon, general practitioner, primary care physician, neurologist, psychiatrist, ophthalmologist, otolaryngologist, dentist, dermatovenerologist, and, if necessary, orthopedic traumatologist and doctors of other specialties.

All results of medical examinations, established diagnoses and decisions of commissions are entered into the electronic health system (esos) using national classifiers of diseases and medical interventions.

The order also regulates deferrals to basic military service. In particular, a deferral from referral for basic military service for health reasons is granted for up to one year to conscripts who are recognized as temporarily unfit for military service during a medical examination. After the specified period expires, a second medical examination is performed.

During the period of martial law, a deferral from referral for basic military service for health reasons can be granted to conscripts for up to 2 months. For medical reasons, it can be extended for 2 months and for the third time - for the same period. At the end of the postponement, a medical examination of conscripts is carried out to resolve the issue of fitness for military service.

It also provides for updating the rules for conducting medical examinations before sending conscripts to military units. Before departure, it is mandatory to conduct: a second medical examination; chest radiography; preventive vaccinations in accordance with the national calendar.

In addition, in the schedule table of diseases and diagnoses, profile articles are divided into sub-items that correspond to new categories of suitability:

fit for service;

suitable for service in shopping centers and joint ventures or rear units;

temporarily unfit with re-examination;

unfit for service.

Currently, there is a norm according to which persons unfit for service are excluded from the Register of those liable for military service, but from now on such people will not be excluded from the register, despite the fact that they are not fit for service.

For example, if a person has congenital malformations of the nervous system, then before that he had the status "unfit for military service with exception from military registration". However, now a person with such a disease will simply be unfit for military service.

Recall

The Ministry of Defense approved an orderthat establishes a list of diseases that will determine the status of suitability of a person liable for military service.
