Mr. Umerov noted that Ukraine seeks to strengthen cooperation with international partners in 2025. To this end, an analysis of the support received has already begun and priority areas for the future have been outlined:
1. Use of funds from frozen Russian assets to finance support for Ukraine.
2. Expanding the EU mission to train the Ukrainian military to improve their combat capabilities.
3. Attracting investment in the Ukrainian defense industry to strengthen production capabilities.
Special attention was paid to the training of strategic reserve brigades. It is known that negotiations are already underway with a number of European countries to equip and train Ukrainian units.
Umerov thanked Andrius Kubilius for his consistent support of Ukraine, emphasizing that stability and security on the European continent are impossible without a strong Ukraine.
