"For the attention of citizens traveling to Ukraine from Poland. There is an accumulation of vehicles in front of the Polish checkpoints "Korchova" and "Medyka" in the direction of entry into Ukraine," the regional office of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported on social media.
They advise "to reduce waiting time" to choose less busy border crossing points nearby.
"We also remind you that in the pre-Christmas period, passenger traffic to and from Ukraine increased, which is why an accumulation of vehicles is recorded at some checkpoints. Currently, passenger traffic at the checkpoints in Lviv region has increased by 25% of the total flow," the State Border Guard Service said.
