On March 7, the body of a young refugee from Ukraine, who had previously been reported missing, was found on the NATO ramp in Hockenheim, Germany (a checkpoint for military personnel on rivers).
The police announced that the 27-year-old woman had died as a result of external violence, and opened a murder investigation.
Later, the victim's 51-year-old mother and 5-week-old daughter went missing.
Law enforcement officials noted that 51-year-old Maryna Stetsenko is considered the main witness in the case of her daughter's death and her granddaughter's disappearance.
