President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked the President of the United States and the entire American people for a new military aid package worth $300 million. The head of state wrote about this in the social network X, UNN reports.

He said that the new aid package includes 155-mm and 105-mm artillery ammunition, Stingers, HIMARS shells, anti-tank systems and other equipment that is "critical on the battlefield and for the protection of civilian cities and infrastructure.
"Each ammunition saves the lives of Ukrainians who are attacked by Russian occupants every day. I appreciate the implementation of our agreements with President Biden," the Head of State said.
He also noted: "Ukraine expects the Congress to approve the supplemental program as soon as possible to help bring our common victory closer.
