"It is important to address Congress specifically: if Congress does not help Ukraine, Ukraine will lose the war. If Ukraine loses this war, other countries will be attacked. This is a fact," Zelensky said.
The newspaper writes that Zelenskiy's warning, one of his sharpest since the war began more than two years ago, comes as Congress has refused for months to pass an aid package for Ukraine, leaving Kyiv to struggle with a shortage of manpower and ammunition and a bolder Russia firing missiles at Ukrainian cities.
It is noted that in February, the US Senate approved a bill to provide assistance to Ukraine and Israel worth $95.3 billion, but House Speaker Mike Johnson has so far refused to vote on the adoption of the package for Ukraine.
