Ukraine will resume Russian oil supplies to Hungary and Slovakia "within a few hours" on Wednesday, AFP reports, citing a Ukrainian official, writes UNN.

Details

Ukraine, as a Ukrainian official told the publication, will resume Russian oil supplies to Hungary and Slovakia "within a few hours" on Wednesday after the repair of the Druzhba oil pipeline, damaged by a Russian attack, is completed.

The pipeline has been at the center of a confrontation between Hungary and Slovakia, which still import Russian oil through this pipeline, and Ukraine and the European Union, the publication notes.

Addition

Earlier, Hungarian MOL reported that Ukrtransnafta announced the completion of repairs to Druzhba and is ready for oil transit.

Resumption of oil supplies via the Druzhba pipeline, through which Russian oil goes to Hungary and Slovakia, Bratislava expects on Thursday, April 23.
