The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine during the meeting decided to terminate the agreement with the government of the Russian Federation on cooperation in the field of communications. This was announced by the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Taras Melnychuk in his Telegram channel, reports UNN.
The Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Russian Federation on cooperation in the field of communications, concluded on May 26, 1993 in Kyiv, was terminated due to a fundamental change in circumstances.

The agreement on cooperation in the field of communications was aimed at ensuring the uninterrupted functioning of telephone and postal communications in both states, the transit through their territories of all types of communications, postal items and special communications, the transmission of television and radio programs.
