Ukraine has received a modern modification of F-16 fighters with the latest avionics, radars for targeting missiles, and so on. This was announced on Monday, August 5, by people's deputy and deputy chairman of the parliamentary committee on national security and defense of Ukraine, chairman of the Permanent Delegation of Ukraine to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Yegor Chernev, reports UNN.

He added that training our F16 pilots and technical personnel to maintain these vehicles on the ground remains an important issue.
"Now there are not so many bases for this in the world, so we are looking for opportunities in different countries to increase the number of our specialists," the MP said.
In addition, in his opinion, the transfer of the first F16 aircraft should be an incentive for our other partners.
"Then we expect other cars from the countries of the relevant coalition – the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark and Norway. Now active work is underway to ensure that other states, in particular the United States, join this coalition. So we will be able to get the necessary minimum of aircraft to close our skies and repel the attacks of the invaders with missiles, drones and planes," Chernev stressed.
According to him, there is a consensus among the allies that it is necessary to look for new opportunities to increase the combat fleet and strengthen Ukraine. We are also working out all possible options so that we can get long-range weapons for these vehicles, which are produced in Europe and the United States.
"The process continues, and I hope that we will see such missiles in Ukraine," the MP added.
