The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has included the Mari Zhany Park and Dobrosyn Invest Park in the Register of Industrial Parks. UNN reports this with reference to the Government Portal.
About 1,250 new jobs will be created by two new industrial parks in Zhytomyr and Lviv regions. The decision to include Ma'rizhany and Dobrosyn Invest Park in the Register of Industrial Parks was made by the Government at a meeting on August 9, 2024
Vitaliy Kindrativ, Deputy Minister of Economy, noted that industrial parks are an important component of the "Made in Ukraine" policy.
They help attract investment in the real sector, develop production facilities and increase the share of the manufacturing industry in the economy. For its part, the government, through the State Stimulation of Industrial Parks program, covers part of the costs of investor's engineering and transport infrastructure, which is essential for the development of industrial parks. Ukrainian banks have now started to actively join the program. This week we signed an agreement with Oschadbank, which became the third state-owned bank to join the program
It is reported that the Ma'rizhany Industrial Park will operate on the territory of the Khoroshiv territorial community of Zhytomyr district, Zhytomyr region. The 30.2-hectare area will be occupied by processing industry enterprises, including the production of textiles, nonwovens and building materials, as well as scientific and technical activities. The park concept envisages the creation of 750 jobs and investments totaling almost UAH 2 billion.
Dobrosyn Invest Park is an industrial park located in the village of Dobrosyn, Lviv district, Lviv region. The 14.6-hectare area will be used for light industry, plastic and metal products, food processing, woodworking and other activities. The park's concept envisages creating up to 500 new jobs and attracting UAH 1.6 billion in investments.
Thus, taking into account today's decisions, the Register of Industrial Parks includes 88 parks
